Valley Royal athlete Ruky Abdulai from Abbotsford jumped 6.72 meters with only three attempts on Friday April 18th! Competing at the Azusa Pacific Open meet in Los Angeles, Abdulai jumped 6.72 meters a distance that surpassed the previous Canadian record of 6.66 meters established by Ontario’s Nicole Devonish in 1996.
