In keeping with its longstanding tradition of hosting some of Comic-Con’s most popular, crowd-pleasing events over the years, SCI FI Channel will once again feature some of its biggest hits - as well as its highly-anticipated new series - at this year’s Comic-Con International, held July 23-26 at the San Diego Convention Center.

Fans will have the opportunity to see their favorite SCI FI stars and get the answers to all their burning questions at each of the Channel’s star-studded panels, including Warehouse 13, Eureka, Sanctuary, Stargate Universe, and Caprica/Battlestar Galactica: The Plan.

In addition, SCI FI will take over a restaurant at the Hard Rock Hotel, re-branding it as Eureka’s “Cafe Diem” for the duration of the convention. The fictional local hot spot heavily featured in the popular dramedy, Cafe Diem will be the hub of all SCI FI activities during the week.

It was recently reported in the media that Dr. Michael Baden, the medical examiner assigned to investigate the death of David Carradine, has concluded that his death was due to “accidental asphyxiation” or circumstances which prevented David from being able to breathe.  It was also concluded by Dr. Baden that David’s death was not suicide.

“He didn’t die of natural causes, and he didn’t die of suicidal causes from the nature of the ligatures around the body, so that leaves some kind of accidental death,” reported the doctor.  The possibility that the asphyxiation was “auto erotic”, or brought on by sexual activity is still being investigated further.

Although the details have not been released, the word is leaking out regarding both of Michael Jackson’s funerals - private and public - which will be happening on Tuesday, July 7th in Los Angeles, California.

As previously announced a public funeral is being held at the Staples Center for Michael in Los Angeles.  Details regarding Michael’s public funeral are rumored to be available later today (July 3rd).

The public funeral is free to anyone who wishes to attend but all are warned that mobs of attendees are expected and entry will only be available on a first come/first serve basis.
