Award winning Jennifer Hudson is expected to perform at the Michael Jackson memorial on Tuesday, July 7th in Los Angeles.

Her performance was reported today by CNN who will broadcast the service.  CNN has announced that the memorial service will include Anderson Cooper, Larry King and Don Lemon as the anchors.

It is especially significant that Jennifer will exercise her famous vocal pipes at the King Of Pop’s memorial service since she recently experienced her own family loss.

It has been indicated that Jennifer’s presence at the memorial, besides singing, is to offer comfort and support to the Jackson family and fans in light of her own recent loss. Reports of her performance have not included any specific songs she will sing. (more…)

On Monday, June 29th Fox honored the memory and celebrated the life of one of the most iconic entertainers of our time. FOX aired an encore of the Michael Jackson-themed AMERICAN IDOL Performance Show Monday, June 29 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.  Michael Jackson Encore Show Pre-empted House And Lie To Me Shows.

This 4th of July which fall over a long weekend, serve up a Zen, White & Blue, a festive iced tea cocktail that blends fresh tea leaves, blueberries and mint with raspberry infused vodka and Zen Green Tea Liqueur.

Created by Tea Sommelier James Labe and inspired by Old Glory, this cocktail combines both the spirit of the holiday and the sweet taste of summer.

The recipe for the fabulous drink is listed below:

ZEN, White & Blue

1½ parts ZEN Green Tea Liqueur

3 parts prepared Silver Needle White Tea

1½ parts SKYY INFUSIONS RASPBERRY

3 parts Fresh Blueberries, muddled or pureéd

Combine 1 part cold and 5 parts boiling water to approximate 180ºf. Use ½ cup dry tea leaves to 2 cups hot water (1:4). Steep 3 minutes. Strain and chill. Combine and stir ingredients. Serve on the rocks. Garnish with Fresh Mint.

Although the details have not been released, the word is leaking out regarding both of Michael Jackson’s funerals - private and public - which will be happening on Tuesday, July 7th in Los Angeles, California.

As previously announced a public funeral is being held at the Staples Center for Michael in Los Angeles.  Details regarding Michael’s public funeral are rumored to be available later today (July 3rd).

The public funeral is free to anyone who wishes to attend but all are warned that mobs of attendees are expected and entry will only be available on a first come/first serve basis.

Michael Jackson camp insiders are now saying that Michael will also have a private funeral which will be held before the public funeral at the Staples Center.   (more…)
