Reality Steve (RS) whom I had the great pleasure of chatting with personally by phone during the much discussed Jason/Melissa/Molly Bachelor fiasco has just snagged an interview with the much hated Bachelor Wes Hayden from the current season of The Bachelorette with Canadian Jillian Harris.

It should be noted that while Wes is definitely hated, he still doesn’t hold a candle to the “most hated bachelor” in the history of the show, Jason Mesnick.

As I said in a previous blog, I was always positive Wes was the victim of extensive editing, which based on RS’s interview he definitely was. Ditto for Ed, Michael, Jake and all the other bachelors with prominent air time from the current Bachelorette season. (more…)

Saul Rubinek is perfectly cast as the mysterious Artie Nielsen on SyFy’s Warehouse 13.  Saul is a highly respected actor with a long list of credits.

Saul Rubinek was born in a refugee camp in Germany after WW II where his father ran a Yiddish Repertory Theatre company. Saul started his professional career as a child actor in theatre and radio in Canada.

He was a member of the Stratford Shakespearean Festival Company in Stratford, Ontario and later was a co-founder, actor and director of Theatre Le Hibou, Theatre Passe-Muraille, and Toronto Free Theatre.

Rubinek started working in the U.S. in the late ‘70s as an actor at the Public Theatre in New York, and he divided his time between theatres in both countries for several years.

He got his early training in film and television as an actor for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and he continues to work as a producer, writer, and actor for Canadian independent features. (more…)

Naturally curly tressed actress Joanne Kelly plays Myka Bering who is part of the new two person Secret Service Team assigned to the mysterious Warehouse 13 which premiered on SyFy tonight (July 7, 2009).

Along with her partner, Pete Lattimer, played by Eddie McClintock the beautiful redhead helps to track strange and unusal properties and artifacts which can harm others.

Who Is Joanne Kelly

Joanne Kelly is an amazing and beautiful actress with rich cinnamon hued ringlets cascading around her gorgeous face.

Joanne has found success in both film and television with leading roles in projects such as the series “Vanished,” “Slings and Arrows,” “Jeremiah” and television movies “Heydey!,” “Playing House” and “Whiskey Echo.”

She recently appeared in the mini-series “Diamonds” with Judy Davis and James Purefoy for ABC and the upcoming “Jack Hunter and the Lost Treasure of Ugarit.”

She was also featured as Bianca in “The Dresden Files” on SCI FI.

Kelly’s film credits include the critically acclaimed “The Bay of Love” and “Sorrows” as well as “Remembering Phil” and “Going the Distance.” Her theatre credits include Shakespeare by the Sea productions of “Romeo and Juliet,” “Julius Caesar,” and “Measure for Measure”; HurlyBurly Theatre Company’s “Macbeth”; Same Plan Co-op’s “Seven Stories,” and most recently, Castawayhorse Productions’ “Oleanna,” which she also produced.

Born in Bay D’Espoir, Newfoundland, Kelly attended Acadia University in Nova Scotia. She was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2006 for her performance as Frannie Mackenzie in “Playing House” directed by Kelly Makin.

Joanne Kelly has snagged a plum role on the new Warehouse 13 science fiction series from the newly named SyFy.

When they say Warehouse 13 is set in a warehouse, the good folks at SyFy aren’t kidding.   The Warehouse is located in a god-forsaken portion of South Dakota and was built in 1898.

That’s the least mystifying part of Warehouse 13. Somehow two of the Secret Service’s top two agents, the newly assigned team of Pete Lattimer played by Eddie McClintock and Myka Kelly (MyKa not MeeKa) played by Joanne Kelly find themselves suddenly assigned to Warehouse Duty.

The team which was most recently tasked with successfully protecting the President of The United States from an odd bleeding statue find themselves being sent off, without any warning, on this really strange and mysterious assignment to this very unusual building. (more…)

ABC.com needs a good guy to be their next Bachelor.  One who is really fun to watch and has the fans able to enjoy the show for what it is - good entertainment.  Afterall, it is a scripted show.

We all know that but in the end I think all of the fans want to be entertained.  Right?

After all the angry viewers, many still hating Jason Mesnick for what he did to Melissa Rycroft, ABC.com needs to find a Bachelor who at least seems like a really good guy.  And is enjoyable to watch.

Although the rumor mill has Kiptyn Locke in the lead as the next Bachelor, which of course means the final two Bachelors will most likely be Reid Rosenthal the realtor from Philly and Ed Swiderski, the consultant from Chicago who left the show early to get back to his business. (more…)
