Irina Shayk (sometimes credited as Irina Sheik, born Irina Shaykhlislamova (Russian: Ирина ШайхлиÑламова) appeared on Ellen Degeneres on Friday, February 18th. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model (born January 6, 1986) was wearing a shimmering skintight peach hued strapless gown. The super short strapless gown showed off the Russian model’s gorgeous long legs.

Her light chocolate brown hair cascaded several inches past her shoulders ending in a soft perimeter wave. She was the picture of sexy glamour. Her hair was parted down the middle with panels of shiny hair nestling around her gorgeous face.

Ellen started her interview by asking the model how to properly pronounce her name. The model said “Irina.” Ellen asked Irina where she was from.  Irina said “I’m from Russia.”

The audience yelled and whistled. Irina laughed at the response and looked into the audience.  She continued “I’m from a very very small tiny village in Russia.  It’s like two hours by flight from Moscow to South or three days by train.” Ellen said “I would fly then.” Ellen asked “and what is name of the town?”

Irina said “Yemanzhelinsk. It’s kinda like my real last name. Because my real last name is Shaykhlislamova. And everyone thinks it’s a joke because it’s 14 letters, there in my last name and….” Ellen said “spell it for me?” The model gasped “oh my God I don’t know if I can do it.”  She then slowly spelled her last name. In a recent Piers Morgan Tonight interview 49 year old George Clooney claimed that he is not looking forward to getting married again.  Never mind that he’s dating the gorgeous Elisabetta Canalis who is a model and actress.

Although they seem like a perfect couple the actor was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993 and says “I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married, so I gave it a shot.”

Dating One Of Most Sought-After Men Since 2009

Canalis, dating Clooney since 2009, has revealed that at times she feels uncomfortable dating one of the most sought-after men in the world. However, she said that Clooney “reassures me all the time. He is very close. I feel more embraced than ever before. The idea of being so loved is overwhelming….George has given color back to my life.”

Episode 8 With Final Four Shear Genius 3 Competitors

Episode 8 titled “The Higher The Hair, The Closer To God” started with the four stylists, Janine, Matthew, Jon and Brig entering the Nexxus Salon.

Brig said to the camera “I did not think I would make it this far.  I was just hoping to make it past the first week.  And now I actually have a chance to win this.”

Jon said “it’s completely different. Our models are standing there in front of us and then there’s this huge black tarp.  Dun, dun, dunnnnnn.”

Janine’s Work From Last Challenge Added To Allure Wall Of Fame

Camila told Janine that since she won the Elimination Challenge last week her work would be featured on the Allure Wall.  Janine told the camera as she looked at the new photo “this is actually hair I would have done for the Red Carpet.  I couldn’t happier.”

Ralph Lauren’s firing of ‘too fat’ size 4 model Filippa Hamilton, 23, has raised the anger of women and body-image experts around the world.  In light of the much publicized runway model deaths over the past, people are shocked that Filippa’s 120 pounds is considered “too fat.”

Filippa’s allegation that she was dropped by Ralph Lauren’s company for not fitting into its clothes alarmed women and body-image experts alike.

What?  No NDA For Filippa?

While I’m not condoning anyone’s actions on either side of this issue I have to wonder….didn’t Filippa have an ironclad Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Ralph Lauren?

Even Reality TV Stars are bound to secrecy with penalties in the millions of dollars.  If you’ve watched Big Brother (I’m addicted) you would hear the producers saying “you are not allowed to discuss production” along with other “you’re not allowed tos.”  It actually became a joke with some of the contestants.
