Happy New Year! Ask yourself this question, “Am I gonna live forever?”. What would you do, if you have a day to live, an inevitable death sentence looms, a countdown on your life? Are you happy with what you have and who you are and what you’ve become? Are you living someone else’s dream? Are you bowing to the whims of the Asian mentality of close-mindedness camouflaged as so-called culture?

Bitch, moan, rant – is that what you wanna be doing for the most of your life? Whine like a swine? Become a racist/sexist bigot? Don’t let your attitude be your downfall. Change is down to you. Remember, growing old is inevitable, but growing up is optional. So, welcome to wherever you are. Live your life. RIGHT NOW. Life is change & growth is optional.
We need to choose wisely..

We can do or be whatever we want in our own lives.
Nothing can stop us, except our fears.
But.. we must always remember that we have the power to make the decision to choose wisely.

hehe, what a coincidence. Ronnie Q the bar just happened to play this song like 4 hours ago. Endroo was asking us “Whose favourite song?” LOL

Yea you are right. Don’t cry like a baby when you’re a grown up. That’s quite a shame actually. Having to bitch or rant about certain things ONCE A WHILE is ok, after all we are all human being. But if the person constantly complain about his/her job, parents, friends then it’s very obvious that something is wrong in him/her. Choices is upon them, just decide to be somebody or nobody.

hehe, life itself is dynamic, you can turn and twist around it.

Some people take it that being contented is being too complacent..but really, it’s a state of mind…you are answerable to only yourself. When you are contented, nothing fazes you. Nothing bothers you. Nothing can break you.

Gallivanter: Filled with mixture of drinks man! You can imagine what we had between 19:30-02:30! LOL

It’s an art of learning to be contented. Not everyone can pick that up easily. I learned through ordeals, whether it’s my own fall or others’ past experience. It’s always the heart & mind issues, whether we want to be open and receptive.

It’s funny with human, but one thing for sure – We all change, for better or worse. As being their friends, we can play a part by reminding what’s yes and what’s not. We can offer our perspectives and views. We can lead them back to the path of righteousness. LOL Truth is often harsh, it all depends on the individual receptiveness to have the message penetrated through.

So Thank You very much for reading my long comment!

tihtahpah Inspired by Prison Break! LOL. The BEST TV Series! Complacent and contented are 2 different things, and the sooner humans can differentiate them, the sooner they can start living their lives!

meekiee Wow, that’s a lengthy comment. Good points. I think one needs to experience all elements of life to understand and appreciate the meaning of “contented”.

anucia I think we need to have a right balance – bitching is okay if one practices what they preach. I read many blogs who make it their goal to bitch and rant. Because they know bloggers like you enjoy reading them. Having said that, you do have some valid points. And don’t worry about missing the “s”, we tend to miss alphabets every now and then.

Che-Cheh Happy New Year to you too! Nothing like sleeping, but I think I’ll save that once I’m six feet under. As for the IKTS, what started out as fun became a bore in the last month or so. Thus I decided to withdraw.
