The Art of Making Friends

When meeting people for the first time, do you usually like them or dislike them? Your attitude when you first meet someone will leave a lasting impression. Lonely people and friendless people have one thing in common – when they meet new faces, they become extremely judgmental by looking for reasons to dislike the person. The other party can sense that.

If you genuinely like people, like I do, you’re more inclined to have them liking you in return. Your presence will make them feel comfortable and this will successively enlarge your circle of friends. It will build your confidence and morph you into a social-holic like yours truly.

Don’t judge new faces, look at them as fellow mortals, making their way through life. Your world will be a friendlier and better place, and soon, you’ll be singing your lungs out to “We Are The World”.

Hi Daniel, like you i am a social butterfly, i accept people at face value when i first meet them , only time will tell how it ends,sometimes good sometimes not so good,but all are given the same chance,my gran alway’s said [never judge a book by the cover] so i try to live by that omg i may have to start singing we are the world

I also told myself not to judge people by look in our first meet.. BUT I can’t.. as you said this is one of the characteristic of friendless people like me…

I will feel tense or serious when I first meet the person.. I also do not know why..

I’m such a sucker when it comes to socialising.. :p but.. I do sing We Are The World (I think I watched the mv/heard the song too many times when I was young that I could remember the sequence of the singers siap dengan imitate the way they sing :s … lol)

I cudn’t agree more on tis statement coz tis is exactly wat happen 2 my judgmental fren…gonna print out tis sentence n paste it on his forehead hahaha…;p
