From the Screen to Your Stereo Part II, the title of New Found Glory’s latest album, featuring cover versions of songs from movies. The covers include pathetic “Kiss Me” (Sixpence None the Richer), Go West’s “King of Wishful Thinking”, a nonsense band in the form of The Cardigans with “Lovefool”, Goo Goo Doll’s “Iris”, Simple Mind’s “Don’t You Forget About Me”, Tears for Fears “Head Over Heels”, Eric Carmen’s “Hungry Eyes” and Madonna’s “Crazy for You”.
Of the covers, I enjoyed 2 songs, Madonna’s Crazy for You and a rocked version of Lisa Loeb’s famous tune, “Stay” which she lends her voice too. A rocker!

Whoa! (must I start with a Whoa! all the time? :p)… Stay – Lisa Loeb is my all time favourite song and it’s a must that I sing this whenever I’m @ Karaoke.
Gave me a shock when I first listened to this version.. but.. it’s not too bad. Still love the original a lot.

I’m like Massy just now too, I thought I was in the wrong blog LOL! But the look’s nice! Anyway, not really into rock music, this song is not really my cup of tea, but I hafta state here that I still love Lisa Loeb. And I like watching her Number One Single too.
