Nice touch to get Fergie on board with the 2008 version. However, the middle section just before the guitar solo, the mix was rather weak. Just like Kanye West’s reproduction, Billie Jean, who for the love of GOD, left out THE most crucial part of Billie Jean, the bass! Kanye still thinks he’s the greatest – cue barf.

Anyway, Fergie’s voice does really well to complement Michael Jackson, who re-recorded this track as well as Billie Jean and Wanna Be Startin Something. MJ still has it, but now we await his next album, with anticipation. Who’s gonna produce it, Will.I.Am, or Kanye West, or Timbaland? Or all 3 joining forces and ruining the album ala too-many-cooks style.
