Ashes Divide, an American rock band whose debut album went under the knife for review. I had this album with me for quite sometime, and I had a tough time picking its best song, and that’s not a complement. The album is aptly titled, “Keep Telling Myself It’s Alright” and that was how I felt as I labored through it.

Having said that, this track is not too bad. You may not like it immediately, unless you’re an emo dweeb. After a while, it sounds OK. Still, there are certain parts of the track where the vocals sound off. The chorus, saves it.

Ashes Divide – Too Late

If I could separate me from myself, I’d stay away from me
But if you decide I’m wrong, and you can wait that long,
Don’t fall away from me
If I could separate me from myself, I’d stay away from me
But if you think I belong, stay and keep me strong,
Maybe it’s not too late
