Thanks for your supÂport, yeah I did e-mail my lecÂturer and my supÂport offiÂcer and even stuÂdent supÂport but I only got an e-mail back from my lecÂturer who told me to pracÂtise java more and no model answer, pfft!!!
So I ordered two books on java for dumÂmies so finÂgers crossed I’ll start from the very beginÂning again! I have been creÂatÂing a server and client ftp today for my netÂworks class so far I have my server half set up and it is creÂatÂing a new file but as I haven’t done the client bit it is a blank file but still it is being creÂated!! I am so pleased!!! I am now tryÂing to do my comÂmands so when you type in transÂfer it starts the transÂfer and when you type in exit it closes the conÂnecÂtion ![]()
I’m only gonna do the basic of passÂword and file transÂfer, if I have time I will add more but I have 7 other assignÂments out at the moment so one thing at a time… what ever I can get credÂits wise would be lovely and I can make up the rest in the exam, not the best idea but I haven’t got time to spend too much time on one thing. This netÂworks assignÂment is due in about three weeks and I have a proÂgram analyÂsis assignÂment due in on ThursÂday so I have to start that asap!!!
Other than that I brought a new litÂter tray with is really high and as a cover to stop cat litÂter being all over the bathÂroom floor at the moment it feels like my bathÂroom is a giant litÂter tray.… Onion wasn’t impressed with the hover and when I picked him up to move him to the other room while I hovÂered the bathÂroom he got my wrists now they are sooo painful!
Back to tryÂing to get these comÂmands to work and make some methÂods might make it easÂier to read…

The book Head First Java by Sierra and Bates is a really good Java book. I have been readÂing through it myself. Objects give me the most trouble.
