I am com­pletely mad, bouncy, up for every­thing, lov­ing life, stub­born, sar­cas­tic and funny. My fam­ily and friends are the most impor­tant things in my life, I have two sis­ters & two broth­ers, am the eldest, my youngest sib­ling is 13 years old. I live with my hus­band in the South-East of Eng­land with our three cats.

My cats are my babies, I have a total of three (at the moment) but I would like more, it’s like hav­ing an addic­tion, I just find them so inter­est­ing.

Kit

Arthur

We were given these two by a cus­tomer who use to come into our shop all the time, they were free which is lovely! They are now over a year old and rule my house, Arthur is a girl, I named her Arthur because I really wanted a boy kit­ten but was given these two so she kept the name and Kather­ine was going to my baby girl name when and if I ever have a girl but can’t use it now because the hus­band named her Kather­ine or Kitty or Kit for short.

Arthur is the hunter out of the two and is the runt of the lit­ter so she is a lot smaller than Kit now.  Kit is not the smartest cat but I do think she rules Arthur.

 

Onion

Onion was sup­pose to be my present for pass­ing my first year at uni, I always wanted a gin­ger boy (use to have one when I was younger called Mar­malade) but the kit­ten I went to see was a girl so I wasn’t going to get another cat but my hus­band really wanted their only boy out of the lit­ter Onion.

He is really hyper and is so inter­ested in every­thing we do, he has been set free in the house and now sleeps with the girls in the kitchen at night, no sure if Kit likes him but Arthur does.  When we first got him he had fleas, worms and was under fed so two weeks on he is a lot health­ier.  He likes to play with the girls and chase them even if they don’t want to play with him.

He was named Onion because my hus­band wanted to name him Betty and I could not allow him to call him that so I decided on Onion even though accord­ing to my vet friend cats can die when they eat onions.

House

In June 2008, the hus­band and me brought a lit­tle house about 30 min­utes from our flat, it was very excit­ing since it is such a big deal and we have been in this house for a 3 & a half we are try­ing to do it bit by bit but it all depends on how much money we have.

Try­ing for a baby

In Jan­u­ary 2010, my hus­band and I decided that we wanted to try for a baby August that year to com­plete our lit­tle fam­ily, August came around and we started try­ing, think­ing it would hap­pen in the first month, it didn’t, we hit a year in August 2011 and cur­rently started Fer­til­ity Testing.
