What does Keywords have to do with Targeted Traffic?

In that article, the use of your targeted keywords by the traffic source, is highlighted as one of the main factors to establish whether a traffic source will provide targeted traffic to your website. Targeted visitors are internet users who search for your particular keywords and who then gets directed to your respective webpages that are directly related to your keywords or key phrases.

Mention was made in the article of two tools you can use. The Google keyword tool can be used to ensure that you are using keywords that are relevant to your website and to determine how many people are searching for the key phrases that you want to market on your website. The other tool is called Keyword Spy. It was actually developed to spy on your competitors by typing in their website domain name to look at their advertising keywords or organic search engine keywords. You can also look at the profitability of the keyword advertising. There is a similar keyword tool available which you may want to take a look at too: It is called Hexatrack and in addition allows you to track trends over weeks. It is full of empowering videos to let you know how it is all working. At a later stage I will do a comparison of the two in the Review section. For now, you can try them both to see which one suits you better. They both have a free usage option. With Keyword Spy, the trial does not expire, but is limited to the number of results. With Hexatrack, there is a free option which is limited in functionality as well as a Pro option.

You can get guaranteed targeted traffic if you select in demand keywords with a good Return on investment and use traffic sources that link your keywords to visitor searches. Search Engines are definitely one such source and probably one of the most powerful targeted traffic sources. The organic or natural search engine results (not the PPC or pay per click results) are not only free advertising for you, but is also taking care of residual traffic over years to come. Another great targeted traffic source is articles submitted to article directories. The top directories gets indexed real quickly by the major search engines.

Your next steps is to take stock of where you are at with your website keywords. Do you promote keywords or key phrases and do you appear anywhere in the natural search engine searches? If not, get going in establishing which keywords is linked to your website by using the free Google Tool. Update your tags and keywords in your blogs or on your website. Submit to search engines directly or indirectly via any of the sources mentioned on this website.

PC Secret Formula

There are many reasons why your computer could be running slow…

I’m myself pretty much a hard core computer user, couple of friends have mentioned that if a new computer needs to be tested in just a couple of hours, it should be given to me. Simply because my normal computer workload is pretty much at maximum at all times. I have Mozilla FireFox open with 20-50 different tabs, couple of Adobe Acrobat windows, couple of word files, Editplus (text editor) with 30 tabs, plus of course Adobe Photoshop, mail programs, MSN and these are just the main things.

So if a PC has a reason to strike for some reason, it should definitely be my computer. However, luckily I haven’t really had any big problems except for speed issues due to my hardcore memory and CPU consumption.

Most of the ‘computer speed up’ software out there focuses only on ONE problem area, but with a user like me, its far from enough. Products like "PC Doctor" and "Registry Fixer" are decent products but they leave a lot of your computer’s speed potential unused (I know that after I have tested the product PC Secret Formula).

PC Secret Formula system covers all important areas so your computer is literally forced to perform at maximum speed and that’s why I would definitely recommend the PC Secret Formula to everyone who feels their computer is running slower than it could be should be.

While I use my laptop around 16 hours a day, I haven’t really done much to keep it running fast and safe. I run a firewall and anti-virus software. What I didn’t like about PC Secret Formula?

After going through the system I’d say there are one thing that I don’t like about it. Firstly, being a hardcore computer user I know enough about computers as well as different tasks. What I don’t know much about is how to speed up my computer, I know a few things but I haven’t really had any time to work on obtaining knowledge in that area. And here I’d like to see special chapters that would be combined of the section of the book. There could be maybe 3 different combinations, one for hardcore users like me, another for intermediate PC user and finally one for the hardcore amateur. Right now the sections of PC Secret Formula all together last just a bit less than an hour’s read, but for me it would be enough to have a 10-15 to get straight to the point.

Overall impression

PC Secret Formula has easy-to-follow, professionally produced and well put together ebook, but in addition to that, every single chapter also has notes attached which provide additional notes that will further enhance your PC’s performance. So i f your computer is running slow and you want to speed it up today, PC Secret Formula is the system you should use.

Site cannot be found on Search!

If your site can not be found on the Google organic (free) search engine website, you are not making the best of long term, free advertising to get visitors to your website. In order to get visitors, you are then left with doing short time advertising which can be hard on your budget.

How can you see if your website has been indexed by the Google search engine?

Go to www.google.com. In the search box, type site:yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your
domain name, you can leave out the www). It will now come up with every page that Google has indexed for your website. This is different from searching just for your domain name, which may list sites that reference your website.

Reasons for not appearing:

You do not use your own domain or subdomain or you have a forwarded domain name. Your website is not search engine friendly, see our previous post called "Do you block free traffic?" . Do yourself a favour and see just how accessible your website is to search engines by using the free web analyzer website. If only your first page is listed, you may have a squeeze page or landing page which capturesyour visitors name and email first, so there is no way for the search engine to findthe rest of your website as there are no links going to your other pages.

What can you do now?
If you have a premade website hosted by someone else, the chances are that there is very little you can do about optimizing your site to be listed in the free search engine results. Having a capture page as mentioned above, is not bad practise either, but the real benefit of having such a site only materialise when you send visitors to the main page through constant advertising, there is no benefit of residual advertising or residual traffic as you can get on the search engines.

But all is not lost. If you have control over your site and you can add pages, you can have several landing pages which can be very specifically intended for different keywords that you target or for different markets. You can then create a special sitemap which is a page for Google to guide it to the webpages that you want to be indexed in Google. You can also place a small link on the bottom of each landing page to connect it to another landing page. That way Google can index all your landing pages which hopefully has enough relevant content to be highly targeted to the visitors you want. This will also benefit you if you do pay per click advertising as Google’s quality score is based on the relevance of your advertised webpage to your ad keywords. But that is a topic for another day!

What advertising can you do?

Most of the activities are fairly simple to do, but you have to just get started. Few of them give instant results, some paid services can produce fairly instant results or if you spend the time to learn how it works, the speed by which you are getting results can increase in the future.

Submit to as many Directories as possible. If you choose the free submission option, then use the free bulk directory submission software, hereafter, take the time to hand submit to directories with high rankings, at least two directories a day. This does not need to be repeated. Alternatively, look at this free service to assist you. Create one new original article a week and submit it for placement using the free article submission software which you can find here. Do this at least until you have published at least 7 articles with a link to your website in the author box. You can have someone write your articles, you will still own them and they’ll be ready for submission in a few days, but you’ll be surprised how easy it is to write about something you know and love, your own business. With article promotions, what is most important is the quantity of published articles to the top directories, not necessarily the quantity of article websites. Focus on Ezine articles .com, Go Articles .com, Article Dashboard .com or directories with high PR ranking. At least twice weekly visit forums and post messages using your Signature Links. These entries by you will get indexed and serve as free advertising for many, many years to come! Use this tool to submit to Forums. Once or twice weekly go “blogging” and feel free to post as much as you want. These pages get indexed as well and have a tendency to linger for some time, resulting in long-term free advertising as well! If you do not have or use a blog, use blogger .com as this is owned by Google and gets indexed quickly. You can create as many blogs, even on different blogging sites, as possible. Link the blogs to one another. Submit to blogging directories, such as blog catalog .com, blog a rama .com or blog flux .com. Twice weekly visit different Press Release sites and add your press release. All these activities you’ll see will REALLY start to add up. Use sites such as Free Press Release .com, Free Press Release Center .info, Express Press Release .com which are all free, or the paid PRWeb. Place Free ads daily using websites with high PR scores, one of the most popular is Craigs list .com which can be country or city specific (with geopgraphical targeting). Others are USFreeAds, sites like Vottle .com or Gum tree .com which also has country specific versions. Setup and optimise your Squidoo lens and submit to Squidoo forums at Squidoo .com. Make a video and submit it, this has a major impact on your search engine ranking. To bulk submit the video, use freely available tools such as Tubemogul, but first start off using Powerpoint to do your presentation, then use a program such as Photo Story for Windows to put it all together. Do Social Bookmarking once a day. Use the website called Social Poster .com. This is a great site that allows you to submit to over 40 social sites in one go. Every few days look online and offline to see if you can find or think of newer ways to add to all the things we’ve given you here. You might just think of lots of things we’ve never even thought of but which work as well if not even better! Make a calendar and schedule now! Make a calendar schedule with checklist of all the things you plan to do, and check-off the ones you’ve completed.

One of the simplest but most effective secrets ever invented for success is a checklist so we can see at a glance what’s already been done, and what still needs to be done.

Adding just this one basic extra tool may mean the difference between $100,000’s and nothing! So use it!

Do you block free traffic?

Everyone would like free traffic for keywords or key phrases related to their websites. If someone searches on google, the results that turns up on the main body of the page, is free traffic, not paid traffic as on the sides and at the top with PPC (Pay per click) campaigns.

For your website to appear in the free search traffic, it has to be indexed by Google’s spiders or robots. It can only do so if your site does not block it!

Generally speaking most blogs would be search engine friendly, including your own blog. Sharing a domain name or using a forwarded domain is usually not open to search engines. (Subdomains listed on known blogs are OK, such as mywebsite.blogspot.com).

It is recommended that you get your own domain name with your own hosted blog software solutions, such as Wordpress which you can usually just setup from your hosting control panel. This way you manage all the risk as you are in control of your domain name.

Where to Promote?

First Check your site

Analyze Your Web Pages First! Before you submit your website to search Engines, have a look at what Search Engines would see. Use the Free online tool called WebPageAnalyzer.

Search engine robots crawl your website to index it for the free search pages. It is important that your site is "robot friendly" and that it has clearly defined keywords, titles and descriptions. The site has to have relevant contents (relevant to the keywords).

Submit Online

To save time, why not use this website to submit for you. Submit your website to Search Engines - follow the link to use this free online website submissions to search engines and directories. If you do not want to waste any more time, just submit straight from here! But before you submit, this will notify 20 search engines of your website and it will then send its robots to "crawl" your site and index it. Make sure that your site can be indexed. Do not use a forwarded domain. To be sure, check here first.

Submit your videos to Video Directories. Video files are large and it can be very time consuming to upload it to all the different video directories. Have a look at this website and create an account, there is no charge.

Submitting your website to directories creates links back to your site. If the directory pagerank (PR) score is high, this can bring additional traffic from the search engines.
