Hobos Landing

Here’s a few more pictures.  I went out in the cool this morning and tried a few new things.  I think this is probably the best shot I got:

I took an old black shirt and draped it behind the flower to achieve the background.

This was a miksang shot I happened upon while wandering around looking for macro shots. It’s a representation of the ‘Dot In Space’ form:

I found this little guy basking on a cactus.

I finally broke down and got a DSLR, a Canon EOS Rebel XS (1000D) to be precise.  It’s an entry level DSLR, but I am already having a complete blast with it.  Unfortunately, I have been very sick since it came in so I haven’t had much of a chance to do anything with it…until today.

The combination of big rain storms last night and my feeling a little bit better, inspired me to venture out on to the property this morning and take some pictures in the wet, and here is the result!  (Some are much better when viewed large.  If you want to see them this way, just click on them and you can see them on my flickr page)
