I haven’t done a moon photo in a while and this one reminded me of the Rodgers and Hart class:

Blue Moon, you saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

I’ve been wanting to try so long exposure photography for a while now so I set my camera to manual 30 second exposure, grabbed the tripod and set out on the ranch in the dark.

Since there were stars out and some interesting clouds, I started with the night sky.  This is facing North (approx) on the front of the property.

This one is a tree in the moonlight.  Again, a 30 second exposure.  Once I began to process it, I did a duo-tone process that seemed to turn out rather well.

I’ve tried to stay on my back a bit today, but did get a little bit of cooking done.  Here’s a couple of shots from my cooking escapades today.

I saw some great shadow coming through the blinds on to my old acoustic guitar so I grabbed the camera and started shooting.

It’s back to the flowers tonight.  Here’s a little group of white ones.

Yup…there’s nothing better than titling a post after a Led Zepplin song.  (It’s actually ‘Misty Mountain Hop’, but it was close enough)  Woke up to take the dog out this morning and saw this wonderful fog, so I grabbed the camera.  I only had about 5 minutes of shooting before it burned off.

Problems with my back have meant the last few days of Project 365 have been less than impressive.  Tonight, I gritted my teeth and think I did a little better.  Any chess players out there?
