Your Online Business VCard and the lost art of outlook contacts
Posted by: | CommentsI was thinking today about the amount of time I spend trying to keep the large volume of ‘Networking’ contacts I have organized.
My Blackberry contacts Sync to my Google Contacts which syncs to my Outlook contacts to ensure I always have my contacts with me. However, how can I pass your business on to a potential lead for you if I don’t have all your contact details ?
Here is an example; there are about three SEO consultants that have taken the time to offer to help me with my site for free (if you are reading this , please contact me again;). Yet none of them attached a full and complete outlook contact to the emails they sent me.
Providing me with a completed Vcard or Outlook contact would have ensured I had their full contact details readily available in my blackberry when the father I was speaking to at the water park was asking me how to get more people to his business website last weekend. I can offer general advise but I am no SEO expert.

WordPress Plugin - Stray Random Quotes
Posted by: | CommentsI was activating plug ins over at Aupair Meeting Place this evening as part of a WordPress Install and I found a new random quote WordPress Plug in that I thought I would share.
It looks as though I will be replacing the random quote wordpress plugin I currently have on all my sites as the Stray Random Quotes Plugin offers TWO very important features lacking in any previous random quote Word Press Plug in I have reviewed;
1) The ability to INSERT LINKS into your quote (think affiliate marketing here).
2) The ability to bold and italic (limited html options but still better then NO options).
With a little practice you can also insert the quotes throughout your entire WordPress blog including within comments, posts, and pages (not just within widgets).
Here’s a great feature -> BookMarklet. Simply drag it onto your tool bar and create random quotes while you surf the Internet ( I am using this in FireFox.)

Learn More at the developers site
or install the Wordpress random quote plug in by searching the words “Stray Random Quotes”.
