CONCEPT (most original) and DELISH (most drool-worthy) are independent of the Spectra (best capture) scores.
**CONCEPT (10 points) How original is the concept and how does it highlight the theme?
**DELISH (10 points): How drool-worthy is the picture?
**SPECTRA (50 points) How well is the idea executed?
The judging for SPECTRA is based on
Composition: Aesthetics and production values (20 points)
Craft: Technical merit (20 points)
Communication: Overall Impact (10 points)
In each category, each judge’s scores for all the contestants are normalised to an average minimum and maximum range. The contestant with the highest average normalised score is the winner.

congrats to the winners, all of them had beautiful entries. i did not realize how involved i was in the click event till i saw how much time i was spending on studying the photos and scrolling up and down to compare the photos. now i’m hooked (line and sinker!) :laugh:
all i want to know is if there was a strobe involved in the tsunami picture.
That was a great picture, technically strong, very well planned and executed.
I would love to hear the story of that photograph in the photographer’s own words. (maybe this can be a guest feature in the future - bee and jai?)

What a well-deserved list of winners! As a judge I have to say that the standard was incredibly high and that it was an honour to have to spend time closely examining all these great photos. Well done to everyone who participated and thanks again to our gracious hosts Jai and Bee.

Everyone is a beauty. the judges sure had a tough time, but the winners have really really surpassed everthing…..Congratulations to them, n to you guys for trying to bring out the talent in all these lovely people…. I had wowed to make a submission this time, but I guess you guys cant bring out the talent in me…..or is it that I have no talent at all :laugh:
