Balanced Rock
October 29, 2008 | 16 Comments

It’s the size of three schoolbuses.

It weighs about at 3,577 tons! At 3,577 tons times 2,000 pounds per ton, that’s over 7,000,000 (seven million) pounds!

The rock formation to the right of Balanced Rock had a similar piece called Chip Off the Old Block. It fell off in winter 1975.
