Two cups sit.
Neither are empty,
yet neither are full.
Can we not pour
one into the other?

Lesson #19
The Battle of Fulfillment
Poetry is Divine Force.
It smacks you on the back of the head until you listen.

Dream-dance, spot me in the moonlight. Work is fast, and work is done. No time left to play in sun. Dance with me tonight.

This is kinda cool. Found it in an old binder. It’s dated November of 1999. That means I had just turned 17, so forgive any horribles, ok?

Snowblind
I’m twisted
I’m losing my faith
I’m falling so far
I can’t get away
Death draws me closer
I can hear no sound

A Day Late and a Dollar Short
—
I got a little carried away with NaNoWriMo this weekend, and didn’t even realize I had missed the Sunday Update. So here goes.

We are not this.
We never [...]

She fell asleep that night, in my arms.
I can’t remember the last thing
that she said to me.
When morning came,
I was alone.
So quickly, so suddenly,
it was all over.
I don’t remember arguments.
I don’t remember fights.
I thought we were pretty happy.
I’ll try not to think next time.
