About MediaStinger

What is a Stinger?

An extra scene, picture, or audio clip during or after the credits of a movie or video game.

Who’s behind MediaStinger.com?

MovieStinger.com was created by Nitruc Media and launched in the summer of 2007 and since has evolved into MediaStinger, a comprehensive database that allows users to quickly view whether movies and video games have extra scenes during or after the credits without spoiling the ending for them. Users can also find out what happens during stingers, rate stingers, find out names of songs that play during the credits, read news and reviews, watch trailers and even share and discuss their thoughts through comments.

Why was MediaStinger.com developed?

The majority of people who watch movies tend to leave the theater as soon as the credits pop up, just to have someone tell them later that they missed an extra scene after the credits. Since the 1960s, movie producers have been adding extra footage after the credits of films and since then more and more movies and video games are now including Stingers.

Our site allows users to quickly view whether movies and games have stingers without spoiling the ending for them. Users can also find out the names of songs that play during credits, check out news and reviews, watch trailers, rate stingers and share and discuss their thoughts through comments.

I saw a movie with an extra scene, and it’s not on your site.

Great! Let us know about it by submitting information we might not know about the stinger here.
