The Worship Committee has organized a spiritually-uplifting calendar of events for our church and they invite you to celebrate with us!

Officer Training

An officer training is scheduled for Saturday, February 25th, from 2:00â€”5:00 in the fellowship hall. All newly-elected elders and deacons as well as those currently serving are encouraged to attend.

Help wanted

Please consider volunteering to serve as a Lay Leader, Usher/Greeter, or Coffee Host for Sunday services. It is a wonderful way to be of service to God and to your church. The sign-up sheet is located in the fellowship hall.

Seton House

We join with First Presbyterian & Winter Memorial Churches in the ministry of collecting items for Seton House each month. The Deacons request donations of disposable diapers (all sizes) in the month of February.

SOTH Memorial Garden

The 50th Anniversary Bricks & Mortar Committee is excited to announce plans to begin construction of the Shepherd of the Hills Memorial Garden. The garden will be nestled near the Russian olives to the southwest of the church. The area will incorporate a low brick wall, walkway, lighting plus landscaping featuring perennials and grasses native to Wyoming. At its center will be placed a beautiful black granite columbarium.

Please watch for upcoming dates for formal and informal gatherings to take a closer look at the garden plans. This will give you the opportunity for questions and answers or fill out an application for your niche location.

Brunch-N-Learn

Please plan to join us on February 12th following the service for a Brunch-N-Learn luncheon buffet to learn more about our Memorial Garden and Columbarium project. End-of-life planning and gifting information will also be shared. Bring your questions, and a hearty appetite!

Horizons Bible Study

Our next monthly Horizons Bible Study on the Beatitudes will be held on Sunday, February 12th, at 3:00 p.m. Books are available in the church office and are $8.80 each.

Logos News

On Tuesday, February 14th (Valentineâ€™s Day), Logos will join Pathfinders to deliver blessings to residents of Poplar Living Center. Everyone is welcome! We will meet at the church at 5:00.

On Wednesday, February 15th, there will be a LOGOS staff meeting from 5:30â€”6:15 where we will plan overnight/fun night, a semester mission project, and share updates. A light snack will be provided.

On Tuesday, February 21st, the LOGOS youth will join Pathfinders for dinner at 6:00 during the Pathfinder Staff Meeting.

On Wednesday, February 22nd (Ash Wednesday), the LOGOS youth will meet at Winter Memorial at 5:15. Then, at 7:00 p.m. we will join together as a congregation to attend the Ash Wednesday service at Winter Memorial Church.
