Getting Settled

June 16, 2008 > 19 Comments

After a week of moving, I feel like we are finally getting settled in our new house. We still have a long way to go, (my bedroom and the garage) but we are making progress. This summer my goal is to sort through every bin, box and cubby we have in our house and get rid of the things my kids don’t use anymore. They have so many great toys, but they seem to get lost in the shuffle. I want to weed out the bad from the good so we can start using the good stuff!

Here are some pictures from our move.

I hope to make progress on the black hole this week.

I love the color in the d/r. Are you going to put up curtains? That would be so pretty. I am a curtain fan.
How lucky for you to have a school room. I have been debating on changing my office to a joint school room. I am going through some changes too but am not sure what.
Glad to hear the move went well.

Hi there. Just visiting from 5M4M. Love your blog home here.

I read your about me. Please tell your DH THANK YOU from a family in FL. We so so appreciate all that our military does and sacrifices.

And you too! You go girl! Sounds like you all have had quiet the non-normal life lately. So glad to see God sustaining you through it all!

Hope to be back again to visit.

I so understand where you are at. We just moved in our first house last month and I’m still trying to set settled.

You did a great job! I get to do this sometime in the next few months – I just don’t know exactly when yet. I’ll have to remember to take lots of pictures like you did and make a fun post out of it too. Good luck on the black hole!

I love the cluster of photos above your piano. That’s what I want to do in my house. I also love the wall color in your dining room.
