Hi there! I’m Jana.
Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions when planning your wedding. You want to make sure you’re choosing a photographer whose work you connect with, but just as importantly, whose personality you connect with. I know it’s not easy to get a good feel for who somebody is through a website, but hopefully through reading about my experiences and my stories, you can get a peek into my life. I hope that with this blog I can give brides & grooms, their friends and family, and everyone out there a better idea of who I am and what I love to do.
Wedding photography is my passion. It’s my dream job, and I love what I do. I do, after all, get to spend most of my weekends celebrating with gorgeous, glowing people on one of the biggest days of their lives. I like to think that that passion shows through my work, and in the relationships we form. I believe in creating fun, fresh and honest images filled with emotion that tell the true story of your wedding day. Loryne & Josh, like most people new to being in front of the camera, were nervous about the engagement shoot when we discussed it at our first meeting. But on the day, they showed up dressed to kill with the attitudes of supermodels. We were able to have a great time with the session, which is always my main goalbecause these shoots should never feel like work.
As a result, this post may be a little photo heavy. I just couldn’t stop myself.

Wedding tip: If formality isn’t for you, don’t force it. Greeting your groomsmen with a high five during the ceremony may be more your style.
I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again….I love this look on a groom’s face.
