I’m glad Da Kid K finally got a good mic hook-up for this one; it makes him sound a lot better. Keep your eyes out for this guy!

Big  Sean tries and fails at hiding his surprise, annoyance and anger for his song Big Nut Bust being compared to Soulja Boy. This ladies and gentlemen is an interviewers dream. Someone please get Big Sean some interview training. Ha.

So we posted a version of this song in the summer where it featured T.I.  I guess since his unfortunate run-in with Uncle Sam he got dropped from the song. Either way his name is still in Jamie’s verse so he should thank him for the free promotion. Jamie’s new album is dropping Dec 21st!

Looks as if Bun B provides the G-Mix to Snoop Dogg and Soulja Boy’s Malice N Wonderland collaboration, “Pronto,” which will be featured on the CD+DVD re-release, More Malice, set to drop March 23rd.

And though “Pronto” was not a stand out track from Malice N Wonderland, adding a guest verse from Bun can only help its credibility, but more importantly, its playability, which seems to be a current theme with Bun B lately. Link for the record below.

Now, if you know any of us here at 5STAR, you would know that we are the last people to give two shits about anything Soulja Boy is working on.  However, while I was browsing the Internets, I came across a headline that read “Soulja Boy spits Hot Fire.”  Now, usually I would chalk that up to be some dumbass 13 year old kid tryin to get his swag on, but it was posted on a pretty reputable site, Vibe.com.  I saw that Soulja Boy put out this song after hitting the 2 Mill mark.  Now, he’s definitley not the “Best Rapper” as he states in the video, and I was pretty disgusted when he said he was “similar to NaS,” but this is definitely different from any of the other shit I have heard him put out.  Take a listen to the song, which has no hook by the way, and lemme know your opinion on the song.

Unsure about your feelings, but to me, this is beyond horrible. I realize some of you will claim that this is a fan appreciation video, but I beg of you to consider that this is poorly made, especially since it resembles a video with a $200 budget. Nonetheless, you can formulate your own thoughts, but do not think you will change mine whatsoever.

Considering I would rather see the three artists in the video, which says a lot from me, this video is garbage. And do you remember when Mr. 5 Star said he enjoyed this track? Hah, I do.

Here comes a track by Soulja Boy and Drake, entitled Play Ball. The song will be featured on one of Soulja Boy’s upcoming mixtapes with DJ Woogie. As much as I would like to say I don’t like this track, I simply cannot. However, Drake makes the record worth posting/downloading.

Sidebar: Looks like the Richie Wess track was fake, by the way. Figures. It is quite shameful that those guys tried using Drake’s name/hype for their own success. Oh well, the real song is below, enjoy.

Sidebar: I am not entirely sure how to take this, seeing that Kanye West is my favorite artist and I believe that Soulja Boy is one of the worst hip hop acts the decade has seen. All I know is that whatever Kanye touches, it is fire, so we shall see. Thoughts?

Wiz Khalifa is my mans and all…but….this shit sucks for obvious reasons.  I’ll let you figure it out.
