Some more of that Detroit heat. Thyme and Mudd b.k.a 5 Ela a.k.a 5 Elementz bring that Hip Hop heat with this new mixtape. I like it because it’s more like a real album (which is becoming obsolete) rather than a DJ screaming on every track. Oh hell yeah! I am extremely happy with the 2009 mixtapes thus far. Here’s some of that underground fire for you. Talib Kweli, Clinton Sparks, & Strong Arm Steady bring it with a host of talent including Paul Wall, Talib (of course), Planet Asia, as well as my homie Guilty Simpson (hottest track to me number 12). S.A.S’s new LP Arms And Hammers drops later this year. Big UPS to Blacksmith.

I thought my dude Termanology was gonna hold it down with his hot to death mixtape for a minute. I was wrong. Not for nothin’, Wordsmith is that deal. The more I hear dude, the more impressed I am. This is one of the dopest mixtapes I’ve heard in a minute. It definitely is a candidate for Best of ‘09, my opinion. Immaculate flows over dope ass beats. What more could you want?

This chick is real dope. She can sing and her songs are mad cool to listen to. My favorite tracks are Murdah Feat. The Game and I lost you. I really think you should check this out cause she’s the truth, and it’s some good music. DJ Cannon always brings us that good ish everytime so you already know what it is…Dj Cannon (cannon….cannon.) Ahhh shit the famous Number 2 train, any N.Y dude knows about that. Anyways the Big Homie Sha Stimuli always kills it on the mic and is one of my new favorite MC’s. This mixtape is a showcase of Sha’s older work from 2003-2005. Real dope, Im feelin this tape a lot.
