This article discusses the main reason I do not use reprints. Though a lot of article writers are producing great content, if it is duplicated on my site or linked to, does this make the content of my website unique? Certainly not. marketing article writing really is pretty easy. It takes me maybe an hour to produce a 600 to 700 word article that it totally unique. I also use copyscape but mainly to find websites that have copied my work without including a trackback/pingback or link to my site. Constantly publishing other marketing articles that have been previously published has no effect on my overall website SEO efforts. It is My articles and MY content that is being indexed and served in search results. So the author is very correct, content is not king, unique content is
