Description of radio ad:

Fearing that African-Americans will realize that they have choices in this presidential election, Congressman John Lewis makes the following statement:

It’s funny that Lewis was apparently mum when the following radio ad was played on Black radio stations:

I guess Blacks only speak Democrat.

My anger towards this big game that these self-appointed leaders are playing telling us as African-Americans that we are too stupid to know the difference between a political ad and klan activity is rising to new levels. John Lewis and Julian Bond were both founding members of SNCC (Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee). This was one of the groups that paved the way for civil rights. Although their contributions to the movement are much appreciated, anyone that treats African-Americans as though we are brainless, scared, and lack the ability of reason is nothing more than a continuation of jim crow. What they fought against they have now become.
