I was never a big fan of the original Tarzan show; however his ability to not only communicate with the animals, but to almost instinctively know exactly what they wanted was very interesting to me. This self-appointed “Lord of the Jungle†was also the mouthpiece as well as the defender of the native Africans that had been living in the jungle for centuries. With Tarzan and his wife Jane, the jungle was assured to be a much orderly place.

Like Tarzan, white liberalism has attempted over and over again over the past decade or so to be the mouthpiece of those “who don’t have a voice†(according to them). If “perceived victimhood†does not exist, white liberalism cannot exist. You can always find white liberalism swinging through the jungles of humanity in search for someone to saveâ€â€Âsomeone who is in need of a voice.

Take the recent example in the news regarding the protestor that became so angry with CNN anchor Paula Zahn for having a hawk nest that was located near the windows of her high-rise apartment in New York removed, that he stalked Zahn’s family for about five days. If that was not bad enough, this protestor also made some very disturbing threats towards Zahn’s seven year old son. One news source referred to these birds as now being “homeless†(how can a bird be “homelessâ€ÂÂ? The fact that this bird had built its nest on a high rise apartment in NYC shows that it was already “homeless”. Nests belong in trees. Unlike people, this bird along with any other bird can easily rebuild without the use of money). Somehow, the frustrations of this hawk had been transferred to this “spokesman†of the animal kingdom.

This “assumed spokesman for the victim†role can also be seen among some environmentalist. Julia Butterfly Hill, a writer and activist who stayed in a thousand-year-old Northern California redwood for two years from Dec. 10, 1997, to Dec. 18, 1999, without touching the ground to protest the logging of ancient forests. Somehow, this specific tree communicated to her that it a brave person to plead its case against mankind.

Pleading the case for birds and trees may seem admirable to some, but when the tenacity of the protest can be compared to the liberation of some impoverished nation, one has to admit that their cause has now crossed over into the irrational.

How about environmental groups like ELF (Earth Liberation Front) who feel the displeasure of the environment to the degree that they feel compelled to burn down auto dealerships that sell SUVs as well as multi-million dollar homes. They show very little regard for all the families that have been affected by their actions. I guess somehow the wrath of the trees is somehow squelched after these people offer up their sacrifice of insanity.

Although these groups only represent a fraction of white liberals, white liberalism makes very little attempt to distance itself from these fringe groups. This ideology becomes even more dangerous when people become its target.

Months before the current war in Iraq began, white liberalism again came crying out for the lives of the innocent Iraqi children that would be intentionally destroyed by American bombs. All throughout the streets of America where there was anti-war protest, pictures of young Iraqi children could be seen being paraded as some sort of reminder that this impending doom to Iraqi children would happen. The truth is although there were causalities that involved children; there is no proof that tells us that it was in any way intentional. Some people who bought into these “doomsday prophesies†even went as far as going to Iraqi to act as human shields in an attempt to thwart US attacks. What was very interesting was that on the day that infamous statue of Saddam Hussein was brought down, among the thousands of cheering Iraqis, a few of these newly freed people held up a sign telling these “human shields†to go home.

White liberalism has also convinced thousands of American citizens to take pictures of themselves holding signs that tell the world that they are sorry for living in a country that invaded Iraq (a perceived victim). These people have totally ignored the fact that although the true motive of our Iraqi invasion is still questionable, millions of people no longer have to live under constant fear for their very lives, including the children that they so cherish.

At the time this article was being written, there is a death row inmate in the state of Connecticut that is pleading with the state to execute him for the eight women he admits sexually assaulting and eventually murdering. White liberalism in the form of the ACLU and other fringe groups have made the choice that this man must be insane to make such a request is currently fighting the courts to ignore his plea. White liberalism always knows what is best for the victim that they represent.

In many cases, blacks have unknowingly been a victim of white liberalism. Of course the most recent example can be seen in our last elections. For the first time in many years blacks have begun a small trend moving to different political parties other than Democratic. It was sad enough to hear other blacks refer to these “out of the mold†blacks as “Uncle Toms’â€ÂÂ, but when whites began to do the same thing without being challenged by their fellow black Democrats, it truly became a sad day in America. White liberalism was able to somehow assume that it represented the majority of blacks in this country so much so it felt very comfortable in using the same racial slang that sadly we as blacks use on each other. All of a suddenly, white liberalism became “our brother in armsâ€ÂÂ.

Currently, white liberalism is fighting every little town and city for the purpose of removing any reference to Christmas in the public square. Their reason is that it offends many people who do not acknowledge a Christian God. What has been very peculiar about their little cause is that when confronted, those that buy into this ideology are unable to produce the millions that they say they represent. I have known of many people who do not consider themselves Christian to tell me “Merry Christmasâ€ÂÂ. Are we now to assume that those that buy into white liberalism has some kind of ability to see into the inner pain of these people every time they have to endure the holiday season? In many cases, this fight for the “perceived victim†is in vain. Another example of this can be seen in the recent decision by the city of Los Angeles to remove the cross off of the city seal. Numbers of people in the Los Angeles area voiced their opposition to this decision versus only a few showed support for this action. Yet it was the majority that was ignored. White liberalism knows better than its victims.

The odd thing about white liberalism is that those who are its victims are from all various backgroundsâ€â€Âwhites included. The reason why I make the distinction of calling this ideology “white liberalism†is because this elitist attitude that suggests it knows what’s best for the victims they claim to represent is seen most among whites who consider themselves liberals. One needs to be very careful to assume that this applies to all white liberals. This is simply not true. What is true is that unless this forced ideology is confronted and dealt with, this country will be filled with “perceived victims†that will only look to this twisted ideology for its salvation.

In the end, we are all nothing more than badges of validation for this movement that is fueled largely by its own insecurity.
