
Originally released by Million Dollar Pictures in 1938 as The Duke is Tops, Lena Horne’s first film at age 21 was re-titled The Bronze Venus and re-released to capitalize on her Hollywood success in two 1943 musicals, Cabin in the Sky and Stormy Weather.
