Okay, now this was just plain stupid!

Why on earth would someone make a car radio where you would carry the whole thing–chassis and all?

I think I knew of one person that would actually carry their radio with them. Everyone else? Just tuck it under your car seat.

The face plate feature isn’t any better. Unless you carry a purse with you, guys do not have any options on where they can carry the face plate.

Here’s another fond memory…

Remember pulling up at either the mall or school driving your parents’ car. What would you do as you got closer?

Turn the radio up.

We know good and doggone well that the reason why we did this was because the system inside our parents’ car couldn’t handle too much base, so we had to make up for the loudness by waiting until we got closer to the people we were trying to impress. If that wasn’t bad enough, we would leave the radio on for a few more minutes after the engine was turned off and open the door so that all eyes were on us…

…unless that was just me.
