Seniors strut their stuff for Nets to hip-hop beat

More than 30 women and one man came to the tryout Monday evening. Wearing everything from jeans and T-shirts to spandex and stiletto heels — the group moved to the beat of Jay-Z’s new single, “Show Me What You Got.”
Nets dancers led them through a choreography that included waving their arms over their heads, brushing some invisible dirt off their shoulders, and pumping their fists and pelvis in the air. They laughed. They cheered. They took frequent water breaks. (more…)
