Brad Church Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning, Hanover
$20,000 loan

[image]SINCE THE RIPE AGE OF 19, BRADLEY CHURCH HAS WORKED ON PERFECTING HIS CRAFT.  With extensive experience working for local companies, and a Masters of Plumbing license, Bradley decided to start his own business in June of 1999.  He affirms that it was a bit scary to begin working for himself; Bradley knocked on doors of local businesses, handing out his business cards to generate prospects.  Over time Bradley has created a loyal clientele, with approximately 50% residential and the other 50% commercial clients.

Bradley obtained a loan from Community First Fund to help with expansion as his customer base grew.  Bradley notes that while growth and expansion is a healthy sign in business, it translates into etra paperwork, billing and scheduling.  “Some times the business has five months of work lined up; along the way I’ve learned how to juggle everything while meeting my customers’ deadlines.”
