After visiting the restaurant three years ago, Bill and Monir knew they had discovered a taste of perfection; when the option to purchase the business presented itself in 2005, they jumped on the offer.  With financing from Community First Fund, they were able to renovate the space for its re-opening on Valentine’s Day, 2006.

Offering an expansive selection to please even the most particular person’s palate, Bill and Monir bring their previous New York City and Reading experiences to Dans.  Word of its success has spread quickly; patrons will drive over an hour to visit the restaurant.  Bill and Monir host private parties as well, and are in the process of expanding the restaurant into the space upstairs to accomodate their growth.  Says Bill, “We’ve used our gut instinct as entrepreneurs to gauge when we should take risks in the creation of this successful business; perseverance has allowed us to expand.”
