Today, Sports Illustrated.com’s Jon Heyman ranks the 10 big off-season trades and, surprise, he ranks the Tigers-Marlins trade from December at the bottom of the heap. He grades the Tigers a D and the Marlins an Incomplete and says:

Memorial Day Weekend is here and the Tigers are in last place. A year ago, they entered the Memorial Day weekend at a much more delectable 29-18.

…the Tigers acquired outfielder Russ Nagelson and lefty Bill Rohr from the Indians for RHP Fred Lasher.
Nagelson appeared in 28 games for the Tigers that year, his last in the bigs, and batted .188.
Rohr never appeared in a game for Detroit.
After his trade to Cleveland, Lasher went 1-7 with a 4.07 ERA in 43 appearances.
