decompressing from a great new years holiday
January 5th, 2008 | by geo |It’s hard coming home from 82 degrees and sun to 13 degrees and freezing snow….which is what I did coming from key West back to Ohio earlier this week. The New Years celebration was amazing, and even more amazing was that I got to meet one my favorite acoustic guitar singer/songwriters Mac McAnally.

We were heading up to Duval Street after a great dinner and some drinks at Capt’ Tony’s, and decided to stop in at Hogs Breath Saloon since it’s a legendary establishment in Key West. The live band was great, and as we were talking I turned around and standing right next to me was Mac. We talked for a minutes, he offered to take a picture, and then we took off. Amazingly nice guy and rocks the acoustic. He’s also played great live aoustic duos with Buffett, and is a long time friend.
Great sample of what Mac can do on an acoustic…….

viva mr. mac macanally and key west. It’s too bad we all can’t take a trip down to the keys for awhile and chill out before we head back…I think it sounds like a wonderful policy to put into place!
