i bought an acer aspire 5520 2 weeks ago with vista home premium but to me its all eye candy comp amd tk 57,nvidia 7000m 610 chipset.please tell me if these drivers work as i miss xp pro and rather have it on my laptop than vista and will save money on ram upgrade. any help or advice would be very greatfull.

They make it very difficult to roll back to xp you lose all the important drivers thank you very much with driver wouyld be lost without them

I had a trouble for sound driver Acer Aspire 5520 with WinXP.

All of them is good but except for sound driver.

Winvista is good.

I loaded and installed but couldn’t hear anything sound or see symbol on toolbar.

Please hepl me to resolve this trouble.

After inastalin all this drivers on acer aspire 5520 is working good with win Xp?
I ‘m about to switch from vista to xp and i dont want to have any problem with my lap top.

Thank you very much for these drivers. I found most drivers elsewhere, unfortunately the VGA drivers had a corrupt cab file. Hope these work.

you can download Acer Aspire 5520 SATA drivers from intel official site

actually, some people succeed install installing Windows XP on 5520 without installing SATA drivers or even change BIOS setting.

Thanks, I got My notebook with Windows Vista home premium preinstalled, but it is terrible in handling and network connection with XP-Pc´s. So i hope to can install an XP-professional now with this drivers.

I just looked inside the NVIDIA v1313 610m driver file (Chipset.zip) and found that the WinXP Ethernet and SATA-IDE drivers are located there. So all basic XP drivers should be accounted for.
