Keep an eye out for the best season-end deals. Watch for additional percentages off or further markdowns promoted with the upcoming 4th of July Holiday.Specials and sales to consider this week include: All major retailers are in summer markdown mode, each with slightly different marketing twists, e.g. Gymboree’s Red Hot Dot Sale, Children’s Place “Monster Sale”, the Pumpkin Patch “Big Patch Sale”, Old Navy “Summer Lovin’ Sale”. And, here’s something new — What Not to Buy! Don’t be lured by the new Fall lines just yet. Most are fully priced. And, while we’re seeing various school supplies, such as backpacks, come out, you’ll do better to wait on those too. Most stores are gearing up for Back-To-School, which will be in full swing after July 4th. Even my local Staples is already re-organizing and filling the aisles with School Supply displays.
