TuxPaint and Sketch
I just caught a post over at TUAW on TuxPaint and thought I’d chime in to say that this is also available for the Nokia Tablets. TuxPaint adds some fun to the drawing experience with cool sound effects and has nice large buttons for kids to tap on with the stylus.
You can download TuxPaint here. I would suggest you browse this link from your tablet and simply click the download link from within Opera. Even though it says it’s only for os2006, it runs just fine on my N800.
My 3yr old daughter Hannah has had a great deal of luck with the built-in Sketch app (in Utilities) as well. It’s very simple and gives you a more open sheet on which to work. It would be great if the drawing box was able to become full screen, rather than just within the reduced rectangle you get, but that does not really take away from the experience. In fact the same limitation applies to TuxPaint.

I shot this on my Nokia N93, swapped cards into the N800 and uploaded it directly to YouTube…where I was then able to post it to my blog.
