N800 Navkit – Unboxing and Initial Walkthrough

The team at WomWorld were kind enough to send out a Navkit for review and it arrived this morning. I’ve only had a few minutes to play with it so far, but I can say it’s an impressive piece of kit! Inside the box is an everything you need to get going – GPS, Maps on a 2GB MiniSD, and Windshield Mount! This definitely justifies the $239 price I’ve seen on NokiaUSA.com.

The maps are easy to read, easy to use with either stylus or finger and there seems to be a good number of POI loaded to help you find your way to various new places of interest. I’ve only just begun to see what this accessory package can offer. Here’s a video overview of the unboxing and my initial experience with the software.

It’s supposed to be available now… I’d say any day now, not sure what the holdup might be.
