As I just posted on Jaiku, Mauku has been updated for the N810!
This is truly a killer app for anyone who’s active on Jaiku and something I would strongly recommend you check out. Since my iniatial post on Mauku, it has advanced quite a bit and offers, icon support, individual thread updating and kinetic scrolling among other niceties!
A direct link to the installer file is here. It should be updated from beta to release shortly.

Very cool Jonathan. I look forward to checking out this awesome app.
BTW - do you find twitter or Jaiku more useful for micro-blogging? I have accounts on both and I’m torn. I only have so much attention to give a service
@Jason - Thanks! I am mainly on Jaiku and have my feeds going through as well in a lifestream. I do track and post on Twitter as I have a few people of interest there, but mainly it’s all Jaiku - especially when mobile.
Jaiku is a much richer service with threads, channels and notifications on replies to name a few. If you have an S60 mobile, you can install the app on your phone and location and presence can update automatically.
Jonathan, your site does not work in Firefox, only on IE. Just thought you should know.
@jasoncarter I disagree…I’m looking at his site in ff 2.0.0.8 and it looks great (windoze)
@Jason Carter - I’m in Firefox as well… looks fine here and on the N810. Looks good in Safari too actually.
Doesn’t work for me on my Windows box with Firefox 2.0.0.8.. nor does it work for me on my home Linux PC with Konqueror 3.5.7 or Firefox 2.0.0.8. And no, not the same connection.
Oh well. I guess I’ll just watch from Planet Maemo.
@jason - would you mind sending me a screenshot? atmasphere AT atmasphere DOT net.
Thanks!
[IMG Mauku_logo] I’m really pleased to announce that Mauku has been updated to run on the new OS2008. Jonathan Greene over at MaemoApps.com hasbeen testing it and has some visual aids so you can seewhat the fuss is all about. This is one of my favorite apps on the Internet Tablet, and I’m really excited to see the developer so proactive about updating it.
