Joan Frizzell

Joan Frizzell of Glendale, AZ left us on Saturday, October 3, 2009. She was born in Mesa, AZ on February 4, 1937 to Loree Scott-Sorrell and Thomas Rye Scott. Joan was a devoted wife to the love of her life, J.C. Frizzell for 58 years. She was a wonderful caring mother who raised four daughters; Suzie Nobbe, Kimmie Frizzell, Sandra Kozorra, and Jennifer Klein and one son; Jason Frizzell, all who live in the Phoenix area. Joan is also survived by 3 sisters, 4 brothers, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Family meant everything to Joan; she had a heart of gold, a great sense of humor and was never judgmental. While we are deeply saddened that our mother has left us, we take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and has gone to a better place.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009 at Menke Funeral Home Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.

Interment will be at Glendale Memorial Park in Glendale, AZ.
