BEARSPAW – Colleen Andrea (Nonay )

March 08, 1971 – January 31, 2010

It is with deep sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our dear mother, Colleen Andrea Bearspaw (Nonay) she was born March 8, 1971 passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the age of 38 years old.

She is survived by her children which she loved and cherish so much Leslie, Cheyenne, Steven, JonJon, Liam, Arien and Summi and her sisters Laverne (Fabian) Lynna (Tyler), Laura, Georgina (Leroy), brothers, Anthony (Francine), Thomas (Tracy), Kirk (Jesse), Bradley and all her special nieces and nephews, grandnephew and niece Joey and Teegan, grandfather Bill Mclean, aunties Joyce (Richard), Winnie (Ernie), Brenda (Morley), Charlene (Clarence), uncles Lloyd, Marty, father Felix Sr. (Wanda), step siblings, Wylene (Travien), Dennis, Marci, Felix Jr., numerous, uncles aunties, cousins, nieces nephews, from the Bearspaw, Mclean and Beaver families. Colleen was a honour roll student of 2007, at Bow Valley College where she received her education, she was a born poet writer which many of her poems were touched by people’s hearts.

Colleen was predeceased by her son Luke-Jodi in 2007, her mother Evelina Bearspaw in 1990, father George Mclean in 1999, grandmother Gladys Bearspaw in 2005, grandnephew William Bearspaw 2009, grandfather Roger Bearspaw Sr. 1977 and grandmother Caroline Labelle in 1984, and aunties Beverly Daniels and Gweneth Bearspaw.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Lynna Bearspaw on Thursday, February 4, 2010 starting 2 p.m. and Friday, February 5, 2010.

Funeral Service will be held at Morley United Church on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB) Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
