Oh how bloody lovely …

Adobe announced today the purchase of Macromedia for 3.4 billion dollars.
Great … one more software package that I won’t be able to afford because a larger software bought them out.

Ugh. . . Adobe bought Macromeda.
That blows and for many, many reasons.
Correct me if I am wrong, but Macromedia was aronf before Adobe. But the thing of it is, that Adobe has been, by reputation, a big old bloat-ware software which, rivaling Windows, is bulky, slow to load on the fastest of machines and a rival to Macromedia.
I have enjoyed Macromedia Fireworks much more than I ever enjoyed Photoshop.
Same as to Dreamweaver, and the Adobe equivalents.
Okay, thanks for the news, Nita.
