Flexible Zen Living

For those of you with a specific interest in one or more of the topics that make up the Zen Life-Flexibility Program, but wanting a more ala carte approach, we've created the Flexible Zen Living page - we've taken the videos and merged them by topic, which you can purchase individually: learn meditation, Qi Gong, Breathwork, Yoga, Zen Living, etc.

About this BLOG

This BLOG is dedicated to simple, Zen-based living and relating. I write as both a psychotherapist and an endlessly beginning Zen student. My goal is to provide entertaining, helpful, and thought provoking articles about living with focus, intent, and passion.

If your life seems complicated, messy, and you crave depth, meaning and focus, this BLOG is for you. If you want tools to live in the present moment, while learning how to make your relationships soar, this BLOG is for you.

Past articles are available through the BLOG archive, above, in the menu bar. You’ll also find links to important arcicles as you scroll down the left column. Some links lead to our main website, some are available as pdf downloads, and, always, there’s a link back to this BLOG.

A Little History

Back in 1999, I started writing a weekly e-zine called “Into the Centre.â€

In 2006, I began blogging, and in 2007, changed from an e-zine format to this blog. The Phoenix Centre Blog appears weekly, either Monday or Tuesday, and will expand to 2x per week in 2008.

Wayne’s PR Site—Public Speaking, Workshops

I’m a Psychotherapist, and I’ve been in Private Practice in Ontario, Canada since 1982. I’m the author of several highly regarded books, and am an endless student of life and elegant living.

As a therapist, I teach my clients to be self-responsible. I am an expert in creative thinking and clear focus, and demonstrate, in word and deed, what it means to direct focused attention at life’s challenges and overcome them joyfully and with great elegance.

I have worked with executives from organizations large and small, helping them to become more effective by sharing responsibility with others and by motivating others to work with them to build a brighter future.

About The Phoenix Centre

The Phoenix Centre is a counselling centre I established, in Ontario, Canada, in 1982, and my goal is simple — I teach you to be whole!

I teach empowerment, self-responsibility, and simple presence. With these tools, my clients build meaningful lives, excellent relationships, and healthy bodies, minds and spirits.

The best way to get a feeling for what I offer is to explore our site. I know you’ve come here for resources for self-knowing, and for creating healthy relationships, for reducing stress, and for learning to live mindfully.

Below are links to to resources for each of these four topics. I’ve also included a link to our Bodywork section, as many visitors are interested in Body/Mind/Spirit integration, energy work, and improving their sexual response.
