Clickatell and Multimode Merge

Very interesting - I just saw the press release via MocoNews that San Mateo based Multimode has merged with Clickatell, a South African SMS aggregator. They're moving their headquarters here but keeping the Clickatell name. This is pretty cool - there's only a few really open aggregators out there that you can buy messages from at decent prices. I've been using SimpleWire myself for dev stuff, but have been looking at Clickatell. It'll be nice to have some more competition, and to have another major mobile services provider here in Silicon Valley.

We should have a Mobile Monday on SMS topics, and see if we can't get some of the companies along the value chain to present.
