Launching their new DVB-H mobile video service using a phone with the exact same dimensions as the iPod Video (4.1" x 2.2")? Those guys at
Modeo/Crown Castle are whip smart. I don't care that it's a Microsoft phone either - that just means there'll be more content available for it because of their "standard" WMV DRM. The wide screen and QVGA resolution will make mobile web browsing better as well. Wow.
Mobile video wasn't even considered by most as viable until the new iPod launched... so this is just a brilliant marketing move. Super clear streaming video channels on a nice screen in a format that the public has already accepted for portable viewing. Amazing.
