Exactly 1 year after her accident in the Swiss Alps MADELEINE BIANCHI enjoys the place where the Swiss Air Rescue Helicopter picked her up.

She broke her ankle after crossing the very exposed suspension bridge “Salbitbruecke” on a step snowfield. Far away from civilization!

At source of legendary river RHINE

The source of this legendary river is a small lake in the high Swiss Alps.
The Lai da Tuma 2’343 m / 7’687 ft above sea level and 1’320 km / 825 miles from its mouth in the North Sea.

3 h later MADELEINE BIANCHI broke her ankle far away from civilisation.

Early in the morning of the next day a spectacular air rescue by helicopter followed!

On board, a lot of paperwork, required by insurance bureaucracy, had to be done.

Therefore MADELEINE BIANCHI had no chance to enjoy the beautiful alpine scenery, over that the Swiss Air Rescue helicopter flew!
