As I entered the train this morning. There was a hipster aboard. He had 3 seats to himself. He of course was sitting in the middle seat in full hipster gear. He had the trucker Hawaiin cap with some logo, a pin stripe shirt loosely tucked into some slacks with a white sports jacket. Did I forget to tell you he was also wearing red and white Converse high tops with the big red Jackie O glasses. My first thought was he living a little bit too far in Brooklyn, and needs to head up to Williamsburg quick. And my second thought was no one wanted to sit next to him. It seemed like he was the plague. We went about 3 stations before an old black lady sat next to him and 2 more stations before a yuppies did the same. Can we say gentrification is a bitch.
