This year’s Lifespring! Why Christmas Show will be starting on Monday, 1st December and will bring you Christmas Customs from around the world (and how to say Merry Christmas in different languages) and the Christmas Story.
To get you in the mood, here’s a little promo with my co-host Steve Webb from the Lifespring! Media Family:
Lifespring Why Christmas Show Promo!
And we’d love to have you on the show! If you know how to say ‘Happy Christmas’ or ‘Merry Christmas’ in a language other than English, please get in touch with us!
If you’ve got a microphone plugged into your computer, you can record a version of a language on the Christmas In Other Languages page at whychristmas?com.
From a phone, in the USA, you can call toll free Christmas line and leave a message on (+1) 877 433 9091 (you can also call it on skype from anywhere).
Or you can send an mp3 to lifespringwhychristmas@gmail.com
So if you’d like to be part of the Lifespring! Why Christmas Show, please get in touch!
My Christmassy friend Ed Roberts is back with another year of wonderful Christmas Music over at Podsafe Christmas.
It’s a great daily podcast, which started today and runs all the way to Christmas, with some great Christmas music that you might not have heard elsewhere!
So head on over, listen and subscribe to Podsafe Christmas!
There are now pages on the site for Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Although these aren’t to do with Christmas, they are both celebrated around the same time as Christmas!
If you’ve got any information I can add tothe pages, please contact me!
I’ve just added a new page for Vietnam onto whychristmas?com!
I love adding new information ![]()
Hi Everyone,
This is a quick post to apologise for the downtime on the site yesterday (from about 2pm – 9pm GMT / 9am – 2pm EST).
This was due to the site being moved onto a shiney new server for the ‘Christmas rush’! However, as oftent he case with computers, there were a few teething issues!
Everything’s back and up and running and should be faster than ever!
So again I’m sorry about this and I hope you didn’t miss the site too much ![]()
This year, the UK based Churches Advertising Network is running a great competition to re-tell the Christmas story in 30 seconds!
The network has made a couple of brilliant versions, including a football (soccer) match and a horse race to give you some ideas!
Well I thought it would be fun to have a go, so here’s my entry. I call it ‘A Lesson in Seven Carols’:

I’ve also made a 60 second version (A Lesson in Eleven Carols!) just for fun!

I’ll keep you updated with what happens with the competition!
